Abby Keller is a laboratory assistant in Dr. Erik Cordes’ marine ecology lab at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Haverford College in May 2017 with a major in Biology and a minor in Environmental Studies. At Haverford, she worked in a marine biology lab to research the microorganisms that comprise the skin microbiome of whale and coral species and investigated their potential to exhibit antibiotic functions. She also served as a guest student at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in the summer of 2016. This is her first research cruise!
