Assistant Researcher
Andre Natarov is an assistant researcher with the International Pacific Research Center (IPRC) at the University of Hawai`i. He holds a PhD in Physical Oceanography and Scientific Computing from The University of Michigan. Among his areas of expertise are waves in geophysical fluids and hydrodynamic instabilities. He is also interested in understanding processes associated with turbulence and mixing in the ocean interior. Andre has participated in a number research cruises to the Western equatorial Pacific and Indian Ocean aimed at finding signatures of various dynamical processes in the thermocline
