Principal Investigator
Ann Allen is a Research Oceanographer in the Cetacean Research Program at the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center. She earned her B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of California Santa Cruz, and her Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography from the Joint Program between MIT and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. She has more than a decade of experience working on whale acoustic projects. When she’s not listening to whales, she loves to travel, dive, and hike with her dog.
