Anna Williams works for Dr. Brian Glazer as a lab technician in the University of Hawaii School of Oceanography. Anna performs a variety of chemical analyses to measure products of microbial activity in ocean sediments. Before analyzing the waters around Oahu, Anna studied nutrient cycling off the southeastern United States and uranium remediation strategies at a former munitions processing plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Anna received her B.S. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and her M.S. in Geochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
