Casey Cebreros is an undergraduate at UH Mānoa studying global environmental science. Her interests are anthropogenic impacts on the environment, climate change, conservation biology, coastal ecosystems, and coastal geology. The world is her playground! Currently, she is preparing to start her first research project, which will focus on the effects of ocean acidification on calcifying algae in Hawaii. She enjoys travel and has made it one of her ultimate passions to explore as much of our mysterious planet as possible. In her free time, Casey enjoys hiking and anything to do at the beach.
