Emily Conn is an undergraduate student at The University of Queensland’s School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Environmental Science, majoring in Earth Resources, Emily is passionate about all things geology, especially marine geology, volcanology, and geohazards.
Emily’s previous research in marine sediments was her first introduction into the world of marine geology. Combining her two passions, Emily hopes to learn more about seamounts (marine volcanoes!) and their effects on both marine ecosystems and human settlements.
