George Pleskach is chief electronics engineer at EvoLogics GmbH, a German a high-tech enterprise, specializing in underwater acoustic communication, acoustic positioning equipment and innovative solutions for robotics. George graduated from National Technical University of Ukraine in 1985, and after a career in underwater acoustics, relocated to Berlin to become one of the first members of EvoLogics team in 2000. George focuses on research and product development, being the force behind some of EvoLogics’ recent advances in underwater acoustic modem design. His latest projects include the EvoLogics M-series of underwater “mini” modems that offer full functionality of a standard modem in a light and compact body, as well as the high-speed M-series modem, capable of transferring data at rates well above the industry norm.
