Peter Vrolijk is a scientist from New Mexico Tech and is retired from ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company.Dr. Vrolijk received his PhD from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) in 1987 studying fluid flow and earthquake processes in subduction zones. His work encompasses elements of structural geology, sedimentology, geomechanics, and geochemistry to gain insight into fundamental subduction zone and faulting processes. Vrolijk has undertaken on-land geologic field studies and participated on scientific ocean drilling expeditions across the world.
