Co-Principal Investigator
Roi Granot is a professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Ben Gurion University, Israel. He is a geoscientist with expertise in plate tectonics, geodynamics and marine magnetics. He has a particular interest in quantifying past plate motions and worked in various oceanic basins, from the Southern Ocean and Antarctica through the Atlantics, Indian and Pacific Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean Sea. Roi received his PhD from Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD, in 2009, and joined the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP), France, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He is a life member of Clare Hall College, Cambridge University, where he also spent a sabbatical year.
