Sriharsha Thoram is a graduate student researcher at the University of Houston currently pursuing Masters in Geophysics under Dr. William Sager. His research interests fall broadly into the area of marine geophysics and geology. He is currently working towards his Master’s thesis and intends to use the magnetic and bathymetry data collected during this expedition in his research. He has also worked on a project related to Walvis ridge in South Atlantic. His other areas of interest include seismic data processing and machine learning. In his free time he applies his coding skills to develop open source applications for geophysical data processing, enjoys playing guitar, tennis.
