Dr Aimee Catalan is Founder and Director of Catalan Group, an Australian science communication organisation that consults with scientists and researchers to act as interpreter of their science stories and enable them to effectively present their own research. As a science communicator and storyteller, she has presented and lectured in Europe, North America and Asia and is experienced both in front of and behind the science communication camera. Aimee is adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and holds a BSc in biological sciences, a Master’s in science communication and a PhD in communication and medical ethics. Her research interests include, non-verbal communication, doctor/patient communication and misinformation of science and medicine through media.
