Amy Mackintosh is a third year PhD student at Nord University in Norway. Her current research is focused on marine biogeography and projecting the impacts of future climate change on global marine aquaculture regions and species. Amy obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Marine Biology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa where her work centered on marine ecology and parasitology. This is Amy’s first research cruise, and she is eager to contribute to the scientific research and expand her knowledge of the marine environment.
