Eva is a geologist with specialized training in Geomatics and Geochemistry. She works at the Naval Hydrographic Service of Argentina, where she focuses on the application of geospatial technologies to marine geology, particularly coastal mapping and the analysis of sedimentary environments. Her professional background includes work in national government agencies contributing to Argentina’s official cartography through the processing and analysis of geospatial data.
She is currently completing a master’s degree in Geomatics and pursuing advanced studies in Geochemistry.
The upcoming expedition will be her first oceanographic research cruise, and she is eager to contribute her geological perspective and geospatial skills to the science team’s work on the seafloor.
