Title and Institution: Research Scientist, Center for Research on Microscopic structures (CIEMic), University of Costa Rica
Fiorella Vásquez-Fallas is a marine biologist. She has an B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Costa Rica, and she is coursing a Lic. in Zoology at the same institution. She recently began to work in the Center for Research on Microscopic structures (CIEMic) at the University of Costa Rica and has been a research assistant at the Zoology Museum at the University of Costa Rica for several years. Her main interest is diversity, taxonomy, and conservation of marine invertebrates, mostly focused on mollusks.
