Jake Tidwell is a master's student in the Earth and Planetary Sciences program at the University of California, Santa Cruz, while simultaneously conducting research at the U.S. Geological Survey. He graduated from William & Mary in 2020 with a bachelor of science, where he double-majored in geology and government. His research focuses on the geochemistry and mineralogy of hydrothermal vent sites.
