Luca Fallati is a researcher at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (DISAT) at the University of Milano-Bicocca. He has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Natural Sciences. He pursued a second Master's degree and a PhD in Marine Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca to follow his passion for the sea and dedicate his career to studying the ocean. Luca's research interests include marine geomorphology, habitat mapping in coastal and submarine environments, underwater photogrammetry, reconstruction of underwater 3D models, and the implementation of immersive VR scenarios. He is also interested in innovative remote sensing technologies for a multiscale approach in changing environments, the interaction between ecosystems and marine landforms in sensitive oceanic environments, and integrating terrestrial and marine datasets in coastal regions.
