Nicolás Luna Bravo, a marine biologist and ornithologist, is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Natural Sciences at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Zu Kiel, Germany, focusing on the foraging behavior of seabirds using telemetry devices and its correlation with climate change. With a Master's in Marine Sciences and a Bachelor's in Marine Biology, he has extensive experience studying seabirds, from their physiology and behavior to conservation efforts. Throughout his career, he has contributed to monitoring and conserving species such as the Humboldt Penguin and other seabirds along Chile's coasts and oceanic islands. His expertise spans collecting biological samples in the field, conducting molecular and statistical analyses, implementing seabird at-sea census methodologies, and participating in numerous research cruises across the southeastern Pacific.
