Wendolyn Matamoros-Calderón(she/her/ella)Title and Institution: Research Scientist, Microscopic Structures Research Center (CIEMIC), Universidad de Costa RicaWendolyn Matamoros-Calderón is a research scientist at the Centro de Investigación en Estructuras Microscópicas (CIEMIC- Microscopic Structures Research Center), Universidad de Costa Rica. She has a B.Sc. in Biology from the Universidad de Costa Rica, same institution where she also got a Lic. in Biology with emphasis in Zoology and now she is coursing a M.Sc. in Biology. Her research is focused on distribution, diversity, taxonomy and conservation of corals focusing in octocorals and black corals.
