Kaycee Handley is a Master of Research candidate in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia). Her research uses isotope geochemistry to improve our understanding of the causes and consequences of oceanic anoxic events. She completed a Bachelor of Science at Macquarie University in 2018 where she majored in climate science and geophysics. In 2019, she participated in an 11-day CAPSTAN (Collaborative Australian Postgraduate Sea Training Alliance Network) training voyage on board the R/V Investigator, where she fell in love with life on-board a scientific research vessel.
